Description
Haigh-Farr's Blade Antenna family is a low-cost, time-proven non-conformal antenna line covering 300 MHz to 8 GHz, with more than 30 years of operational service in airborne applications. The blade form factor delivers omnidirectional coverage in the azimuth plane with approximately +3 dBi gain and an overhead null fill feature that improves coverage toward zenith angles.
The antennas feature an aerodynamic design with a small physical footprint, making them suitable for installation on aircraft fuselages, missile fairings, ships, ground vehicles, and drones where external protrusions must be minimized. High-power variants are available for applications requiring increased EIRP, such as long-range telemetry or high-data-rate downlinks during launch vehicle operations.
