About
Haigh-Farr Wraparound™ Antennas are a series of conformal antenna designs available from 300 MHz to 13 GHz. These antennas are omnidirectional, providing full spherical coverage, and can be configured with multi-channel designs. A key feature is their single point feed, eliminating the need for external dividers and cables. They are designed for conformal mounting, either flush or external, and can be fastened or bonded to the vehicle. The antennas are suitable for both OEM and retro-fit applications and offer high aero-heating protection. Their rugged construction ensures durability in high G, high radial G (spinup), and extreme vibration environments. Typical applications include Flight Termination, GPS, Telemetry, Data Links, and Transponder. Multiple antennas can be combined within the same physical Wraparound™ to provide a multi-task solution in a single, compact package. These antennas have a flight heritage on various vehicles, from subsurface sea to space, including high Mach kinetic kill weapons, high G projectiles, launch vehicles, atmospheric rockets, missiles, drones, high speed drones and targets, artillery rounds, spacecraft, guided bombs, scoring systems, and even oil rigs.
