The multidisciplinary implementation team brings decades of combined experience in antenna installation, ground station site acquisition, terrestrial communications infrastructure, and electrical and civil engineering, enabling Infostellar to deliver turnkey ground segment solutions for customers with demanding technical requirements.
As part of this offering, Infostellar operates a hosting business that provides Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) for satellite communications equipment: customers can install and operate their own antenna hardware at Infostellar sites, with Infostellar handling site selection, permitting, power, connectivity, and ongoing maintenance. Hosting customers include some of the world's leading remote sensing, Earth observation and multi-national satcom providers — for example, Viasat's Real-Time Earth division hosts a dedicated 7.3 m Ka-band antenna at Infostellar's Taiki, Hokkaido ground station to support polar-orbit remote sensing missions. Combining both GSaaS software access and physical IaaS hosting under one roof makes Infostellar a one-stop option for satellite operators needing anything from shared antenna time to a dedicated, professionally hosted ground station.
