About
The Ground Station Network Service is Infostellar’s core infrastructure offering: a continuously expanding, aggregated collection of satellite ground stations located around the world, made accessible as a single ‘network of networks’ through the StellarStation platform. Rather than owning and operating every antenna itself, Infostellar partners with independent ground station operators and hosting sites (including its own facilities such as the Taiki ground station in Hokkaido, Japan) and brings their combined coverage and capacity to satellite operators under one commercial and technical interface.
The service supports any LEO application in S-band, X-band and Ka-band, from single cubesat missions requiring occasional passes to large, multi-satellite constellations that need dense, globally distributed contact opportunities. Because the network spans many independently operated sites and geographies, customers gain more frequent contact windows and greater geographic diversity than they could economically build and maintain on their own. Infostellar has hosted major remote-sensing and satcom customers on its network sites, including Viasat’s Real-Time Earth ground station at the Taiki facility, and continues to add new partner and owned sites (Japan, and international locations) to grow coverage.
