Description
Bureau 1440's LEO broadband satellite is designed for deployment at approximately 800 km altitude, forming the backbone of Russia's first commercial broadband satellite constellation. Each satellite is equipped with laser inter-satellite communication links enabling mesh networking without ground relay dependency, and delivers internet connectivity with throughput up to 1 Gbps and latency under 70 ms to user terminals.
The satellite supports stationary and mobile user terminals and integrates with a ground gateway network for internet peering. Target verticals include aviation, maritime, remote industrial sites (mining, oil and gas), railways, and rural broadband connectivity.
