About

Bureau 1440 develops user terminals for subscriber access to the Rassvet broadband constellation. Terminals are designed for both fixed installations (homes, offices, government buildings) and mobile platforms (vehicles, ships, aircraft, trains), targeting the same versatility achieved by Starlink’s maritime and aviation terminals.

Target subscriber speeds are 50 Mbps–1 Gbps downlink per terminal. The company projects 1.5–2 million subscribers within Russia and up to 12 million globally once commercial service begins in 2027. Pricing details have not been publicly disclosed, but Russian government customers, remote industrial sites (oil fields, mining operations), Arctic shipping route operators, and mobile users in areas without terrestrial coverage are the primary target segments.

Bureau 1440’s gateway ground stations and Mission Control Center in Moscow form the back-end infrastructure connecting the orbital constellation to terrestrial internet exchange points.
