About LinkSpace

Founded in January 2014, LinkSpace was the first private rocket company established in China. The company focuses on vertical take-off, vertical-landing (VTVL) and reusable launch vehicle technology, aiming to provide frequent, reliable and low-cost launch services. LinkSpace is headquartered in Beijing, with a rocket assembly plant and test base in Shandong province and a suborbital commercial launch base in Qinghai province.

LinkSpace has built a complete in-house reusable-rocket engineering capability, spanning flight-control algorithms and variable-thrust liquid rocket engines. Over four years of development the company built five VTVL test-rocket prototypes (RLV-T1 through RLV-T5) and conducted more than 300 test flights, progressively refining its flight-control software to achieve accurate soft landings even in strong wind (up to 10 m/s). Its core team includes members who previously held key positions within China's national (CASC) rocket industry, and LinkSpace was the first Chinese commercial space company to supply liquid rocket engine products and design solutions to research institutes under the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC).

Building on the RLV-T series, LinkSpace is developing the SRV-1 (test designation RLV-T6), described as China's first suborbital reusable vehicle, using LOX/methane propellant, and the NewLine-1, an orbital-class reusable launch vehicle targeting small commercial satellite launches with a first-stage designed for more than 10 reuses.
