IoT Connectivity Services & Satellite-As-A-Service
NuSpace provides satellite-based IoT connectivity across Southeast Asia for remote sensor data collection and offers comprehensive satellite-as-a-service, including mission design, build, test, launch, and payload ridesharing.
Description
NuSpace offers two primary services: IoT Connectivity Services and Satellite-As-A-Service. The IoT Connectivity Services enable large-scale sensor-to-satellite IoT applications, providing connectivity across the Southeast Asia region for remote sensors. This service is designed for mass low-cost remote sensors that utilize the LoRaWAN Protocol, allowing for data collection from anywhere within their covered region, even in areas without traditional network infrastructure. The collected data is then disseminated directly to the user over the internet for easy access and analysis. Sensors are characterized as 'deploy and forget,' low cost, with long battery life, small, compact, and capable of direct-to-satellite communication. NuSpace can also design custom sensors if needed.
The Satellite-As-A-Service offering simplifies access to space by providing end-to-end support for satellite missions. This includes mission design, where NuSpace helps define requirements such as operational environment, target orbit, mission objectives, and performance capabilities (power, propulsion, communication systems, size, weight, structural requirements). They then build and integrate the entire satellite, selecting appropriate subsystems like sensors, actuators, and control systems. Environmental testing is performed to ensure compliance with space conditions, including extreme temperature variations, vacuum conditions, and vibrational loads. NuSpace also handles launch slot bookings and assists with the assembly and integration process. After launch, they operate payload experiments, collecting data and providing results back to the customer. This service also includes payload ridesharing, offering a quick turnaround time for validating technology in space without extensive planning or complex regulatory processes.
