The 6U Solar Panel is a space-qualified CubeSat solar panel designed for a 5-year mission lifetime. It integrates seamlessly with all EnduroSat systems and features triple-junction photovoltaic solar cells. The panel offers high power output and radiation resistance, maintaining over 29% efficiency at EOL. It includes photodiodes and an accessible Remove Before Flight (RBF) inhibition mechanism. Optional sun and thermal sensors, along with a gyroscope, can be added for maximized power generation. The panel also supports parallel connections to meet custom power needs, allowing multiple panels to be connected in series or parallel for increased flexibility.
