The 8U Deployable Solar Array from EnduroSat features triple-junction photovoltaic solar cells, providing 30+% efficiency at Beginning-of-Life and 29+% at End-of-Life. Designed for a 5-year mission lifetime, it delivers up to 48 W of maximum power in Low Earth Orbit (LEO). The array includes 40 solar cells and an internal bypass diode for reverse bias protection. Its solar cell assembly thickness ranges from 280-300 μm. The system supports parallel array connections for custom power needs and integrates seamlessly with all EnduroSat systems. It includes photodiodes and an accessible RBF inhibition mechanism, with flexible installation options via adjustable Z and X/Y hinge options. Only a single 5V power supply is needed for operation. Optional features include an external magnetorquer connector, low-power MCU, up to 2 photodiodes, and up to 3 temperature sensors. The product comes with a complete user manual, 1 hour of engineering support, and covers delivery, handling, and administration costs.
