Innovative Space Carrier (ISC)
ASCA Project

Innovative Space Carrier (ISC) is developing ASCA, a reusable rocket, alongside spaceports, P2P high-speed transport, and affordable space travel to create a new core industry.

About

We are developing ASCA, a reusable rocket that can be used repeatedly. Furthermore, we are creating a new core industry through various facilities and services, including a “spaceport” that will be necessary in an era where everyone can access space, P2P (high-speed point-to-point transport) that can move across the Earth in 60 minutes, and affordable space travel. The ASCA 1 mission, the first vertical take-off and landing experiment by a private Japanese space startup in the United States, is scheduled for 2025. This mission aims to quickly demonstrate important technologies for realizing high-frequency space transportation. ISC and its US subsidiary, Sirius Technologies, have also signed an agreement with US engine manufacturer Ursa Major Technologies for additional engine procurement for the ASCA 1 series and future joint engine development, aiming to strengthen the US-Japan space transportation industry.
