PanelSat™ is Blink Astro’s nanosatellite platform, serving as the space-based backbone for their entire low-power IoT system. Each spacecraft is equipped with a BlinkSat Radio, which is a low-power receiver tuned to capture small data bursts from field sensors during satellite passes. The PanelSat relays this incoming sensor data during its orbit, effectively extending low-power IoT coverage to hard-to-reach regions globally, far beyond the reach of terrestrial networks. This platform is designed to enable affordable, low-power IoT connectivity for various applications, including waterway and agricultural monitoring, by facilitating the movement of small data packets from remote sensors to the cloud.
