About
The 22 N HPGP thruster from ECAPS (a Bradford Space company) is a high-endurance monopropellant engine running on the non-toxic, ADN-based LMP-103S propellant, rated for 50,000 pulses. It is used for attitude control and station-keeping delta-V on medium-class satellite platforms.
ECAPS has also demonstrated a 22 N FAST (Fast Adaptive Start-up Technology) experimental variant achieving rapid start-up performance beyond the standard HPGP catalyst pre-heat requirements.
