About
Nereus 20 M is the monopropellant thruster in Pangea Aerospace’s Nereus in-space propulsion family, delivering 5-22 N of thrust for small satellites and space vehicles. It uses hydrogen peroxide (H2O2), a storable, non-toxic propellant with performance comparable to hydrazine’s specific impulse, but that can be handled safely at controlled ambient temperatures without the toxic-propellant infrastructure hydrazine requires. The thruster is built with LPBF (laser powder bed fusion) additively manufactured components to achieve millimetric tolerances for precise, repeatable performance, and its modular design scales across small satellites, orbital transfer vehicles and landers. Nereus 20 M can be acquired as a standalone thruster or integrated as a complete propulsion system with tanks, feed system and avionics depending on mission needs. Typical applications include station-keeping and orbit adjustment for satellites, attitude and reaction control, and controlled deorbiting at end of life. The design is REACH compliant and ITAR-free, easing export and integration for European customers. Nereus 20 M is part of Pangea’s broader Nereus product family, a modular, scalable in-space mobility system serving vehicles and satellites alike, and has been selected for private-client missions.
