About
The Busek BHT-200 is a mature, high-performance propulsion system with flight heritage aboard the Air Force Research Laboratory’s TacSat-2 and FalconSat-5 satellites, and presently operating on FalconSat-6. It was the first US-designed and US-built Hall Effect thruster used in-space on operational satellites. Over 20 units have been built and delivered for characterization, plume studies, clustering, and modeling efforts, including iodine-compatible versions for the MSFC iSat mission.
