About
The Busek BHT-20K is a massive step forward in Hall thruster technology, offering over 100 times the power of Busek’s first Hall thruster. An innovative 2.8 cm center-mounted cathode and highly mass-efficient magnetic circuit design deliver outstanding specific impulse and thrust in a lightweight, compact package. Tested at the Arnold Engineering Development Center (AEDC) and NASA Glenn Research Center (GRC), demonstrating throttling from 5 kW to 22 kW for missions to the Moon, Mars, Venus, and beyond.
