About
The Busek BHT-600 is a mature, high-performance, long-life propulsion system compatible with flight-proven heritage cathodes, power processing units, and feed systems. Especially well suited for ESPA-class spacecraft. Available as direct mount, 1-axis gimballed, or 2-axis gimballed, providing attitude control for reaction wheel desaturation and reducing the mass needed for a separate chemical ACS. A BHT-600 engineering model at NASA Glenn Research Center accumulated 7,198 hours of operation without discernible performance drop.
