DEPLOYER-X is Catalyx Space’s non-canisterised, pin-based separation system developed for nanosatellites. Unlike conventional POD deployers that enclose the satellite in a tube, DEPLOYER-X uses a pin-based mechanism following Catalyx’s in-house CubeSat NextGen (CubeSat NG) standard.
This approach allows customers to benefit from significantly lighter separation system mass compared to canisterised systems, translating directly to lower launch costs and the ability to accommodate unrestricted volume in satellite structures — no longer constrained by the cylindrical envelope of a POD system.
DEPLOYER-X has been deployed 26+ times across various launch vehicles, demonstrating mission heritage and reliability across a range of launch environments.
