About
The Spacecraft Interface Simulator (SIS) is an integrated piece of equipment that allows an instrument or spacecraft unit to be developed and tested prior to the overall spacecraft integration. It provides the Unit Under Test with all electrical interfaces that the instrument normally has on the spacecraft, including power, data interfaces, spacecraft buses, discrete control and monitor interfaces. Used on long programs such as SOHO, CLUSTER, and ROSETTA.
