The DFH-4 is China Academy of Space Technology (CAST) 3rd generation, 3-axis stabilized large geostationary communications satellite bus, first flown in 2006. With payload capacity up to 600 kg and up to 10,000 W of payload power in the enhanced DFH-4E variant, the platform has been exported internationally to Nigeria (NigcomSat-1), Venezuela (VeneSat-1), Pakistan (PakSat-1R), and Turkmenistan (TKSat-1), supporting China growing satellite export business.
