About

The FRAME Max is a satellite bus engineered for high-performance orbital computing and direct-to-device (D2D) broadband applications. It features advanced avionics and data processing, making it suitable for demanding payloads such as broadband connectivity, space data centers, radars, and sounders. The modular architecture allows for rapid scaling to 10+ kW class spacecraft using the same avionics, and its plug & play integration design facilitates manufacturing and quick payload integration, with full satellite assembly possible in just 8 hours. It boasts high-speed data handling with 100G Ethernet, SpaceWire, and SpaceFibre interfaces. The FRAME Max is built for a 7-year lifespan and high-power applications, with a scalable solar array capable of up to 50 kW power generation. It also offers an extendable payload volume with a scalable 4-point cupcone interface to accommodate various payload sizes and up to 5 tons total mass. Robust data handling is ensured through automated mission database import, embedded operational modes, and onboard scripting. The bus is compatible with Starlink V2, Starship, and New Glenn for stacked deployment and includes military-grade AES-256-GCM encryption. It comes with a Software Development Kit (SDK), a 1-year SpaceDev subscription, and 20 hours of engineering support.
