The Control Complex of a Large-sized Products is a programmable measurement and control system designed for real-time control of large-sized product forms measuring 10 meters and more. Its operating principle is based on measuring the deviation of the product’s shape from a predetermined reference value using a network of compact triangulation distance sensors. These sensors are mounted on stocks positioned near the control points of the object being measured, and the resulting measurement information is processed to determine shape deviations. The system offers a measurement range of ±20 mm with a measurement error of only 0.1 mm, and can perform processing at a speed of 20 measurements per second. Each sensor has overall dimensions of ⌀50 x 40 mm and weighs just 40 grams, with a sensor scanning time of 0.1 seconds. The complex supports a monitoring speed of up to 10,000 reports per second. The product can be adapted to customer requirements, was first released in 2007, has a guaranteed service life of 1 year, and an estimated production/delivery time of 12 months.
