About
The Solar Weightless System is an automated system for simulating weightlessness of large-sized spacecraft elements, specifically solar panels, during ground testing. It provides 12 suspension points, each with up to 80 kg load capacity, longitudinal travel up to 17 m, transverse and vertical travel up to 5 m, movement speed 1 m/min. Energy cost for gravity compensation is <10% of total consumption. Released 2016 with 10-year service life and 12-month delivery. Adaptable to customer requirements.
