The Solar Array Drive Assembly (SADA) is a new solution developed by DHV Technology to ensure optimal orientation of satellite solar arrays towards the sun, maximizing power generation throughout a mission. It also provides a path for power transfer from the arrays to the satellite bus. The product is offered in two main configurations: the SADA for Smallsat platforms and the microSADA for CubeSat platforms. The Smallsat SADA is highly recommended for Orbit Transfer Vehicles (OTVs) and missions requiring significant power generation. The microSADA for CubeSats is particularly suited for high-accuracy pointing payloads with high power consumption and deep space missions. DHV Technology also offers custom product development, designing electrical and mechanical interfaces to integrate with other subsystems for specific project and mission requirements, a service they have provided since 2013.
