DMON2
DMON2 is a debug software offering fast multi-core source level debugging using Eclipse TCF protocol and supporting the ESA GR716 microcontroller, designed for space and high-reliability applications.
About
O.C.E. Technology has released a new version of DMON, known as DMON2, which introduces several key features. It now supports fast multi-core source level debugging through the Eclipse Target Communications Framework (TCF) protocol. TCF provides a faster and more stable environment, particularly beneficial for multicore debugging, and is being adopted by major embedded system debug tool providers. DMON2 also includes support for the ESA GR716 microcontroller, which features a fault-tolerant LEON3 SPARC V8 processor, communication interfaces, and on-chip components like ADC, DAC, and regulators, making it ideally suited for space and other high-reliability applications. The software offers improved support for the LEON statistics module (L4STAT), which counts events in the LEON4 processor and on the AHB Bus to generate performance statistics for various software applications. Additionally, DMON2 features a new PROM builder GUI to facilitate the creation and testing of systems designed to run from PROM. Multilingual help is now available for its commands, including Chinese, Korean, Russian, Italian, Spanish, and French. O.C.E. Technology also provides a full IDE install program to simplify the setup of the complete Windows IDE environment, encompassing Eclipse, compilers, and the debug software.
