About

The XO-BUS is a series of nano-satellite platforms developed by Exobotics, designed for the rapid deployment of applications in space. It offers a payload-agnostic approach to space missions, ensuring tight supply chain control and guaranteed delivery within 12 months through a fast-track program. The platform incorporates the latest technology to support demanding payloads, providing industry-leading mass, volume, and power capabilities. Its architecture is built upon flight-proven avionics, radios, navigation, and ADCS as standard components. The XO-BUS range features modular platforms from 1U to 27U, integrated flight software, and is described as low-cost, reliable, and CubeSat compatible. It offers significant power, mass, and volume availability for various mission requirements. Exobotics provides comprehensive support packages including engineering support, environmental testing, and flat sat/payload integration as standard. Optional features include propulsion, deployable panels, custom payloads, imaging systems, AI/ML/edge platforms, and more. Additional extras cover ground segment, operations, ground-support equipment, and launch + integration services. The XO-BUS is designed to address common challenges in satellite development such as slow onboarding, lack of flexibility, poorly defined sub-systems, limited access to flat-sats for testing, insufficient documentation, and ground station compatibility issues. It is optimized for testing ideas in space and is offered to customers with varying levels of experience and team sizes.
