About
The GATE Jetpack S is the smallest variant of GATE Space’s plug-and-play propulsion module built for ESPA-class satellites. Using long-duration, storable propellants (C2H6 and N2O) and a flexible propulsion architecture, the Jetpack enables fast orbit transfers, mission reconfigurations, collision avoidance, in-orbit refueling, and safe deorbiting. It integrates into a Rideshare half port or Starlink half port (or larger), minimizing development effort and integration time. The system provides 4 thrusters in the 1-6 N range with continuous, pulsed, cold-gas and deep-throttling (1:10) operational modes, delivering a total impulse of 36,000 Ns and specific impulse of 270 s. Built on a modular and efficient architecture, the Jetpack is engineered for scalability across single spacecraft or full constellations, offering an affordable path to extend satellite mobility.
