The Geostationary BIU Microsatellite is an ESPA-class microsatellite platform from Space Inventor, specifically engineered for geostationary communication services. It is designed for launch into Low Earth Orbit (LEO) or Geostationary Transfer Orbit (GTO) and possesses advanced onboard propulsion capabilities for effortless maneuvering into Geostationary Orbit (GEO). The satellite offers multiple transponder options to suit various communication needs. Key features include a range of available antenna modules: PATCH1-L-R (L-Band Patch 1 antenna) suitable for GPS, satellite communication, and remote sensing; PATCH2X2-S-R (S-Band Patch 2 antenna), a 2×2 array for S-band frequencies; PATCH1-S-R (S-Band Patch 1 antenna), a compact single-port antenna for 2025-2110 MHz or 2200-2290 MHz S-band, used in satellite communication and radar systems; and PATCH4X4-X-R (X-Band Patch 4 antenna), a 4×4 array providing exceptional performance for advanced radar, satellite communication, and high-frequency applications requiring precise directional control and enhanced signal strength. The satellite also includes a Battery and a Power Distribution Unit (PDU) as available modules.
