About

The NanoCom AX2150 is a versatile half-duplex radio transceiver specifically designed for S-band Telemetry and Telecommand (TMTC) applications in space. It boasts high sensitivity achieved through Forward Error Correction (FEC), Automatic Frequency Control (AFC), and digital channel filtering. To ensure secure communication, the NanoCom AX2150 incorporates built-in encryption and key management, adhering to the latest CCSDS recommendations, thereby protecting every communication session against eavesdroppers and other threats. A key feature is its ability to support in-flight reconfiguration of frequencies, bitrate, and channel-filter bandwidth, offering flexibility during missions. The device also includes Smart CSMA/CA for medium access control and quick RX/TX switching, which ensures short satellite ping times and eliminates the need for full-duplex radios. Its integrated design allows it to fit onto a CubeSat PCB up to four times. The product has successful flight records dating back to 2014.
