About
The Alén Space Ground Station Kit (GS-Kit) provides all necessary components to set up a gateway for communicating with LEO satellites. It is designed to be a cost-effective solution and can support up to three frequency bands simultaneously, including VHF, UHF, and S-band. The kit allows for the combination of different antenna types. It comes with an easy assembly, installation, and operation manual to facilitate deployment. The kit is divided into outdoor and indoor equipment. Outdoor components include a structure, an azimuth rotator, an elevation rotator, and antennas (typically two yagi and one helix or dish). Indoor equipment comprises a rotor controller, an SDR rack connected directly to the outdoor LNAs/LNCs, a power rack, and a server rack.
