About

The Gyroscope Sensor for Measuring Angular Velocity Vector Projections 2 is designed for measuring angular increments (rate integral) on sensitive axes of four measurement channels and transmitting this information to the object’s control system. It is a sealed monoblock device that integrates electronic and optoelectronic modules, a block of four sensitive elements of a fiber-optic gyroscope, and four sensitive elements of pendulum quartz accelerometers. The unit also includes a thermal control system and a vibration protection system. Released in 2016, it has a guaranteed service life of 15 years and has undergone flight qualification as part of an Onboard Control System of SC. The product can be adapted to customer requirements. It is intended for use in spacecraft orientation and stabilization control systems.
