Analog transceiver circuit ORTD-LSN, together with DRT-LSN, is intended for use in the equipment of base stations and subscriber terminals of the local navigation system. Separately, VLSI ORTD-LSN can be used as the basis of the analog path in equipment for receiving and transmitting signals in the frequency range 0.1 – 2.5 GHz and the spectrum width of the useful signal 50 kHz or 1.25 – 2.5 MHz. The analog microcircuit of the transceiver path in the range of 0.1–2.5 GHz represents a practical implementation of the “Soft Define Radio” principle – all control is carried out from the digital part of the LSN path via the SPI bus. Two receiving and transmitting channels are located on one silicon substrate: the first is for solving a navigation problem, and the second is for transmitting service information. A simplex is implemented in the chip – simultaneous operation of the receiver and transmitter is not supported. It also provides clock frequencies for digital blocks and ADC / DAP.
