About
The HEMERIA SPECTRA-L40 is a nanosatellite platform specifically engineered for building low-data-rate telecommunication networks from space. These satellites are designed to deliver a very high level of performance over a lifespan of more than 5 years. With efficient energy production capabilities across different orbits, the SPECTRA-L40 platforms are optimized for constellation deployments. The platform supports a maximum payload mass of 20 kg and a maximum payload volume of 220 × 230 × 400 mm plus 7U internal space. It features a battery capacity of 216 Wh and can provide an average payload power of 40 W (10H30) or 65 W (6H00-18H00), with a peak power of 200W. Data and power interfaces include LVDS, LVTTL, RS 485/422, CAN, SpW (Option: SPI, I2C), with regulated 5V and unregulated 15-17V, and optional 3.3V, 12V, 28V, all lines protected by LCLs. Communication capabilities include an S-band uplink of 64 kbps and an S-band downlink of 1,000 kbps, with an X-Band option offering 230-310 Mbps. The platform offers a Delta-V of 80 m/s (150 m/s option) and a thrust greater than 300 µN. Attitude determination and control features include a position accuracy error of 4 m, movement accuracy error of 3 cm/s, temporal accuracy of 100 ns, attitude pointing error of 0.7° @3sigma (0.09° @3sigma option), and attitude knowledge error of 0.7° @3sigma (0.085° @3sigma option). Data storage for the payload is 28 GB (basic) with an optional 32 GB. The mission life is 5 years, with an 8-year option. SCAO pointing modes include Geocentric and Sun, with options for Target, Inertial, Polynomial, and Payload-derived pointing.
