About
The IHI Aerospace MT-9 is a 1N-class flight-proven hydrazine monopropellant thruster developed and manufactured in Japan. Delivering 0.29–1.13 N thrust with 208–215 s specific impulse, the MT-9 has accumulated over 850,000 demonstrated pulse firings and greater than 100 kg propellant throughput. IHI Aerospace has delivered over 800 hydrazine monopropellant thrusters since 1964, with the MT-series representing the core of their satellite attitude control and orbit adjustment product line.
