About

HANBIT-Micro is INNOSPACE’s mid-class small satellite launcher, designed to carry up to 170 kg to a 500 km SSO. The vehicle is a two-stage-plus-kick-stage configuration, 22.5 m tall with a 1.4 m diameter first stage.

The first stage uses a single 25-ton-class (245 kN) hybrid engine. The second stage uses two 3-ton-class methane/LOX engines (29 kN each), each with a 250-second burn time and 350 s specific impulse. Above the second stage, a dedicated kick stage with a 4 kN methane/LOX engine precisely inserts the satellite into the customer’s target orbit, burning for up to 390 seconds with a 350 s specific impulse. The kick stage enables precise orbital insertion to the customer-specified inclination and altitude.
