The Aphelion Cubesat Bus Module is an integrated electrical power system and on-board computer solution designed for mission-critical, volume constrained environments. By consolidating both the OBC and the EPS into a single integrated unit, it offers significant mass and volume savings while simplifying system design. Advanced features such as maximum power point tracking, individually switchable and monitored output rails, high discharge battery compatibility, and PV-cell emergency reset beacon compatibility allow the module to be highly adaptable for multiple mission scenarios. The full-fledged ARM Cortex M4 OBC processor comes with PerihelionOS and a full set of easy-to-use development libraries. Main features include: 5 maximum power point tracking (MPPT) inputs with 40W input capacity, 7 independently controlled and monitored output rails with an output capacity of 5V/3A and 3.3V/4A, 4 channels dedicated for high current deployment mechanisms, High performance OBC processor with EEPROM, SD card slot, and integrated MEMS accelerometer/gyroscope, and High reliability 6-layer PCB and space-rated Lithium cells individually tested in thermal vacuum according to GSFC-STD-7000 standard.
