About
The HyNOx-5 is a mid-range green bipropellant thruster in the HyNOx family, currently in development and targeted for availability in Q4 2026. It uses the self-pressurizing nitrous oxide and ethane propellant combination and targets a thrust range of 2.5-10 N with a specific impulse of up to 280 seconds in vacuum. The HyNOx-5 bridges the gap between the HyNOx-1 and HyNOx-22 in the ISPTech thruster family, enabling a wider range of SmallSat mission profiles.
