About
The Jena-Optronik OSPS (Optical Star Pattern Stimulator) is a simple, robust, and cost-efficient optical test system (Ground Support Equipment) for functional testing of the ASTRO APS and ASTRO CL star sensors. Statically simulates a real star pattern to verify star sensor acquisition, attitude computation, and communication interfaces. Plug-and-play for ASTRO APS; the extended ASTRO CL version also provides alignment functions without requiring a permanent alignment cube on the sensor, enabling alignment and alignment measurement during satellite integration. Available in three variants: OSPS-Standard (ambient), OSPS-TV (thermal vacuum chamber), and OSPS-PEEK (ambient, reduced electromagnetic shielding impact).
