Kacific CommsBox is a compact, all-in-one satellite broadband solution for remote communities and businesses in Asia-Pacific, operating on Kacific1’s high-throughput Ka-band GEO satellite. The self-contained unit includes a 60 cm flat-panel dish with automatic pointing, modem, battery backup, and a built-in Wi-Fi router capable of supporting 100+ simultaneous users. CommsBox is solar-powered, making it suitable for off-grid villages, schools, clinics, and small businesses in unserved areas. Speeds of 2.4 Mbps download and 0.7 Mbps upload are provided on standard plans, with burst speeds up to 6 Mbps. The system requires no technical expertise to install and activates within minutes of unboxing.
