About
The KKa-TR-DL-1929 is a complete K/Ka-band SATCOM transceiver module developed by Arralis, integrating the full transmit and receive RF chain for satellite communications in a highly compact 96x91x33 mm aluminum enclosure. The transmit path covers 17-21 GHz with a linear output power of 20 dBm and conversion gain of 23-27 dB, while the receive path operates at 27-30 GHz with 30 dB conversion gain and a 2.5 dB noise figure.
Both paths use a 100 MHz external LO reference and support IF frequencies of 1-5 GHz (TX) and 1-4 GHz (RX), providing compatibility with standard satellite modems and SDRs. Phase noise performance ranges from -123 to -80 dBc/Hz, with spurious content suppressed to better than -50 dBc. The module operates from a single 12 V supply consuming less than 6 W total, making it highly power-efficient for small satellite and IoT LEO applications.
Connector interfaces include SMPM for RF signals and SMA for reference and IF ports. The operating temperature range of -40C to +70C covers both ground terminal and satellite payload environments. The KKa-TR-DL-1929 is designed for LEO IoT, 5G non-terrestrial networks, space communications, and high-speed data link applications where size, weight, and power (SWaP) are critical constraints.
