About
The KSEPS is Kairo Space’s electrical power system for CubeSat platforms, providing maximum power point tracking (MPPT) solar energy harvesting, battery charging and management, and regulated power distribution to satellite subsystems. It is designed to work seamlessly with Kairo Space’s KSSP solar panels while supporting input from third-party solar cells.
The KSEPS provides regulated voltage rails to the OBC, communication subsystem, attitude control hardware, and mission payloads. Battery configuration and power budget allocation can be adapted to mission requirements. The unit is designed to the PC/104 stack interface standard for compatibility with commercial CubeSat component ecosystems.
