About

The Kratos 4.0 m Light Quick Deploy antenna system is engineered for versatile operation across various satcom bands and configurations. Its reflector structure is made from lightweight carbon fiber panels, offering multiple mounting options and available in motorized or non-motorized versions. The system supports interchangeable feed systems for UHF-, L-, C-, X-, Ku-, K-, and Ka-bands, including low PIM feeds, allowing for quick field swaps. The reflector is constructed with a precision-formed honeycomb core and carbon fiber skin for durability and high performance, easily assembled from nineteen panels. Designed for lightweight construction and maximum stiffness, it features compact and robust components. The antenna is electronically engineered for multi-frequency operation, capable of transmitting and receiving signals under demanding wind loads (surviving winds up to 100 mph). The tactical version can be deployed by two trained individuals within 30 minutes. It complies with ITU-R S.580-6, 465-6, 732-1 (C, X, Ku, K, Ka Band) and US FCC 25.209 (X, Ku, K, Ka Band) standards. The antenna is designed to comply with MIL-STD-810F and is utilized with ARSTRAT Certified terminals. It features an El over Az Pedestal mount with a pointing range of ± 60° continuous azimuth and 0° to 90° elevation, and ± 90° polarization. It can operate in temperatures from -40°C to +60°C and survive from -58°C to +71°C. The system includes a Multi Axis Tracking Controller with Auto Acquisition Assist, available as a Single Box Outdoor Motor Controller or a 3RU 19” EIA Rack Mounted Indoor Controller. Power options include 110-220 VAC 50/60 Hz (Indoor) and 24 VDC, 120 VAC (Outdoor).
