About
The Kratos 4.0 m Nomadic is a versatile antenna system engineered for operation across a wide range of satcom bands and in multiple configurations. Its reflector structure is constructed from lightweight carbon fiber panels with a precision-formed honeycomb core and carbon fiber skin, ensuring durability and high performance. The reflector is easily assembled from nineteen panels. The system supports interchangeable feed systems for quick field swaps, addressing UHF, L, C, X, Ku, K, Ka, Ku/K, X/Ka bands, including low PIM feeds. Designed to be lightweight with maximum stiffness, it offers compact and robust components. It meets Mil-Spec standards and is designed to comply with MIL-STD-810F. The antenna is capable of transmitting and receiving signals under demanding wind loads, surviving winds up to 94 mph with the reflector at 90° elevation. Fully motorized versions (including feed) weigh less than 350 kg and the tactical version can be deployed by two trained individuals within 60 minutes. It features a Multi Axis Tracking Controller with Auto Acquisition Assist and various mounting options.
