Greenerwave’s Ku LEO User Terminal is a lightweight, energy-efficient, electronically steerable antenna specifically tailored for low Earth orbit (LEO) satellite communications. Built on Greenerwave’s proprietary Reconfigurable Intelligent Surface (RIS) technology, the terminal continuously tracks LEO satellites across the sky, maintaining reliable high-speed connectivity without the need for mechanical steering mechanisms.
The terminal achieves a G/T figure of 9 dB/K and is designed to meet the demands of next-generation LEO constellation operators. Its RIS-based design significantly reduces semiconductor count compared to conventional active electronically scanned array (AESA) antennas, lowering cost and improving reliability. The compact and lightweight design makes it suitable for maritime, land-mobile, and portable applications across defense, government, and commercial markets.
