About

Xplore’s ‘Space as a Service’ empowers businesses with Data, Compute, and Operations capabilities. This offering is built around an innovative low Earth orbit satellite constellation designed to deliver high-quality remote sensing data products and edge computing. The core of their operations is the Major Tom® satellite operations as a service software, which manages their own constellation and can also be utilized by other operators to manage their constellations.

Data as a Service provides hyperspectral data and sensor fusion, with Xplore’s remote sensing satellites carrying a diverse suite of instruments to capture Earth imagery. Their initial mission focuses on delivering world-leading hyperspectral data products.

Compute as a Service enables customers to run algorithms on orbit, offering orbital edge computing capabilities. This allows for software-defined payloads that can create data fusion products, extract insights, perform data reduction, and execute innovative customer algorithms, thereby reducing the cost and latency associated with generating critical insights.

Operations as a Service, powered by Major Tom, provides satellite ground operations software. This service allows operators to manage their satellite or constellation using multiple ground station networks for tracking, scheduling, commanding, downlinking data, and monitoring telemetry.
