About
Xogdor is Masten’s most advanced vertical takeoff/vertical landing (VTVL) rocket, powered by a 6,000 lbf turbopump-fed liquid oxygen/liquid methane engine. It is designed to test entry, descent, and landing (EDL) systems and other space technologies to enable precision landings on the Moon and Mars. The vehicle offers advanced payload accommodations, is capable of supersonic speeds, and can also be used for point-to-point payload transportation. Xogdor represents the latest evolution of Masten’s terrestrial rocket testbed lineage, now operated as Astrobotic’s Propulsion & Test department.
