The Emirates Airlock is the UAE contribution to the Gateway lunar space station, the first crewed station to orbit the Moon, developed and operated by MBRSC. It serves as the crew and science airlock module enabling astronauts to perform spacewalks, transfer research and crew to and from the station, and providing an additional docking port for spacecraft. The UAE gains priority access to Gateway scientific data and will be among the first nations to send an astronaut to the Moon.
