About
Phoenix Eye SignalPrint is RocketStar’s proprietary COTS software for unique identification of specific RF transmitters, even when multiple radios are identical in design, manufacture, configuration, software and cryptographic keys. The software extracts the unique ‘fingerprint’ of any electronic transmitter, allowing operators to identify and track individual radio emitters with high accuracy. This is intended to counter scenarios where an adversary has compromised cryptographic keys and is spoofing an authenticated device from an unexpected location, giving defenders a way to detect the impersonation before it can be used to compromise a mission-critical system.
