ModuLink

ModuLink is Motiv’s scalable robotic system engineered with unparalleled modularity to affordably update spacecraft with customized robotic capabilities for a wide range of missions. Built on proven Motiv technology, including improved components from the Mars rover robotic arm and the xLink Robotic Arm Platform, ModuLink is space-rated and can be outfitted with robotic arms (customizable lengths and capabilities with dexterous grippers and manipulators), connectors (tool changers, multi-component attachment points, refueling connectors), and sensors (optical cameras, LIDAR, infrared cameras). ModuLink’s mission capabilities include repairs and replacements of aging or failed modular spacecraft components, on-orbit refueling of satellites, satellite and space-junk removal, on-orbit manufacturing and assembly, and moving/relocating satellites via space-tug capability.
