In November 2018, Moon Express was selected as one of nine U.S. companies eligible to bid on NASA’s Commercial Lunar Payload Services (CLPS) program to deliver science and technology payloads to the lunar surface. This remains a featured element of the company’s current offering, positioning its MX lander family as a commercial delivery vehicle for NASA and other institutional payloads bound for the Moon.
